Hi, I am running the d-touch Drum Machine on quite an old sony laptop (running windows) with a Indigo IO pcmcia sound card (using the ASIO driver). I found that when I first tried to use the drum machine I was getting a lot of buffer underruns, causing glitches and clicks in the sound. I found that this problem could be easily avoided by increasing the buffer in the ASIO control panel. After I did this, it worked perfectly. I accessed the control panel using some other music software (Max/MSP) that was installed on my laptop. If you have a similar problem, it is worth trying to increase the buffer used by the sound card. Hope this is helpful! Simon |

simon, thanks for the info! my laptop is quite old, too. at first I didnt use an asio driver and the sound was terrible, so I installed asio4all and I also increased the buffer. now the sound is o.k. |

Hello. We just released version 0.3 of the drum machine with a number of bugfixes. You can find it on the download page. Some of the audio problems may have been caused by bugs that are now fixed. Please let us know if that's the case! |
