First off let me say I think this a really great program and very engaging. Thanks so such for such a wonderful design!

I have a few questions regarding the sequencer maybe someone can help with.

1) What do the 2s, 4s, 8s, and 16s areas of the one cube mean? Is this some sort of quantization method? From my experiments it seems to be the case. but it seems to not work like I imagined it would.

2)If I assign a drum loop to let's say the blue cube how do I ensure that it loops cleanly. There seems to be either a long pause in between loops or they overlap and get noisy. I have experimented with speeding up or slowing down the loop by turning the cube but I can't get it to loop cleanly. Is this where the 2s, 4s, etc come into play?

3) and last but not least if I decide to put the labels on a block of wood do I have to color the wood white or will any color be ok for the software?

Hopefully I have not overwhelmed you with questions :)

Thank you for your kind words :-)

> What do the 2s, 4s, 8s, and 16s areas of the one cube mean? It's the duration of the loop, in seconds.

> If I assign a drum loop to let's say the blue cube how > do I ensure that it loops cleanly. Not sure I understand what you mean here.. each block is a sample, the looping takes place on the entire board/timeline

> I decide to put the labels on a block of wood > do I have to color the wood white or will any > color be ok for the software? The only part that the software cares about for the recognition is the black and white marker. The background of that one needs to be white or a very light colour. You also need a bit of margin around the marker. There is a PDF file with labels -- if you use that the colour of the blocks should not matter (I hope I am getting this question right)

I hope this helps!

Thanks so much for your response. Those answers do help.

My question 2) refers to if I load a loop rather than a small sample. for example a 2 or 4 bar drum beat. When I do this there is a pause after one completion of the loop or maybe sometimes an overlap. I wish to have each time of the loop start exactly when one ends. Does that make sense? Or is it possible? Maybe it's just trial and error. Not sure.

My intention is to use this as a live looper jam sort of thing where I can play different rhythms and play along with a live instrument.
