On Windows is not so easy to implement the webcam selection in a multiple camera setup. I had tried a workaround that is disabling the useless cameras in the Windows control panel, it's not clean, but it's working on my machine. In future releases we will change the computer vision engine and we should solve this problem as well, but it's not a coming soon feature i suppose... |

Hey Gasman, Can you tell us a bit more about your configuration? We have seen that if people have a built-in webcam the drum machine takes the external one. We were expecting people to have a built-in laptop webcam, but 3 cameras at the same time are surprising.. any chance you can unplug some of them? I am asking because I would like to understand how common/uncommon your setup is, so that we can adjust our priorities. Thanks a lot, Enrico |

Hi I will explain exactly my setup. On my PC (Windows XP Pro, SP3) are connected 3 deferent usb web cams and one virtual web cam (ManyCam software - http://manycam.com/). When i use Skype or Windows Live Messenger i can choose any of the 3 cams or the virtual one. But the drum machine takes always the virtual web cam. I will uninstall the virtual web cam to see what will happen. I am afraid i can not do this before Tuesday afternoon. I will keep you informed. |

I have uninstalled virtual web cam (many cam) an now the D-touch can see one of my cameras so I can try it. On my home PC i have a bigger problem. I have one web cam installed and one TV tuner. Guess what? D-touch can see only the TV tuner.!!! This is a problem I can not solve. Please inform me if there is any solution. Thank you. |

can you disable the tv tuner via the windows control panel? In the device managing, i don't know the precise name, but it is under system i think... |

Yes, i can disable tv tuner, but I do not want to make radical changes to my system. Disabling devises in order to make d-touch to work is not a solution. Solution is to make d-touch recognize the preferable video input device. |

@gasman Yes, we totally agree! We were just proposing a quick hack to make it work right now... We are working hard to make the choice of different video and sound output available. We will soon release a new version of the drum machine with bug fixes. |

We are very happy to announce the release of version 0.3 of the drum machine. You can now select the video input from the configurator (on Windows, on Mac it was already possible from the main application) Please let us know if this works for you! |
