have you downloaded the package recently? If not that could help :)

have you installed the drum machine on your mac? have you dragged and dropped the entire folder? what application are you clicking?

btw, no problem for the tone, i know that computers can annoy people! :P

yeah i dragged the entire folder into applications and the configurator opened and worked fine, but then i try to open d-touch_drum_machine it gives me the error message "there is no default application to open this document" it gives me the option to choose an application, but i wouldnt know what to choose. i downloaded the latest version just today and it still will not open i am running an intel mac with osx10.4.11 so i dont know if it runs on intel or not... that could be the issue

ok! yes, it's tested only on intel here, so it should work. The problem might be the 10.4...

can you use a bit the terminal?

you can go by terminal in the folder where you have installed the drum machine and launch it from terminal?

if you need some hint i think you should do

cd /Applications/d-touch_drum_machine ./d-touch_drum_machine

if everything goes fine we should release a new package soon fixing this bug too.

bye!

here's what happened when i opened it with terminal:

Last login: Wed Jul 29 12:59:38 on ttyp1 /Applications/d-touch_drum_machine/d-touch_drum_machine; exit Welcome to Darwin! anton-plauches-computer:~ Anton$ /Applications/d-touch_drum_machine/d-touch_drum_machine; exit self: /Applications/d-touch_drum_machine/ pwd /Applications/d-touch_drum_machine/.otherApps /Applications/d-touch_drum_machine/d-touch_drum_machine: line 10: 434 Segmentation fault ./ADTDrumMachine logout [Process completed]

would upgrading to 10.5 solve the problem? because i was planning on doing that at some point anyway

Hello.

Thanks for trying and posting the result.

Upgrading the OS may solve the problem, we are not aware of similar problems on 10.5. However, unfortunately we cannot be sure about it.

We would like to fix the problems with 10.4, but because that requires re-installing the OS we won't be able to work on that very soon.

If you have a chance to upgrade and try again, please let us know if it works. Otherwise, keep an eye on d-touch.org or our twitter for new releases.
