I get the same sort of behaviour as matteo seems to have - a long delay and then a "Wrong Access".

Maybe a firewall problem as it's on our work network, but other programs (Skype etc.) work fine.

have you already tried to re download and reinstall the package?

Installin means only drag and drop wherever you want, but where your user can write, try on the desktop for example.

Just tried that, put in on the desktop - same thing.

do you know a bit of command line? if you know you could go with the terminal in the folder where you installed the drum machine and check if in .otherApps/conf/code.txt is written you activation code

ps. check your mail, we can do some other testing, but they involve password sharing.

Yes, there's a 32 character code in code.txt. Checking mail now...

then try to launch the drum machine from command line from the installation folder with ./D-Touch DrumMachine and see what it tells

Hi I get the same error, either "Wrong Access" error, or the configurator unexpectedly quits. I have tested on two machines running 10.5.7, and 10.5.6 and same error occurs. I have both apps on my desktop, I have checked in Terminal and there is no directory called .otherapps... Cheers, Joseph.

in the terminal you should type "ls -a" to see the .otherApps folder, it's hidden.

try to go with terminal in the folder where you put the drum machine and type "cat .otherApps/conf/code.txt" and see if it tells something.

Try copying the whole folder from the disk image instead of the just the applications.

Same here, tried re-downloading, copying to applications, desktop and the home folder.

Aha! Success! Thanks Dylan, copying the whole folder out of the mounted disk image, instead of copying the individual two apps, and Activation was quick and successful!

Is this intel only? I copied the whole folder to my applications folder and tried to run it but I get a message in the terminal about "bad CPU type"

It just worked for me copying the whole folder.

BTW: Can I use a firewire cam instead of the iMac's iSight?

my mac is an intel and im still having problems so i doubt its just down to that
